Retail Sales Associate

We are looking for driven individuals that take pride in their work and have a passion for interacting with people. If you believe you meet that initial criteria and are interested in a retail sales position, we would like to hear from you.

This is a Store Lead opportunity. You will be a vital part of the Parklane Retail Sales Team and will be responsible for making sure your store exceeds in delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire Parklane Mattresses shopping, purchasing and delivery experience.

Success in this position is directly tied to your ability to be highly engaged on the floor to drive and achieve daily sales results. You must have a passion for selling and an insatiable curiosity driven by the desire to be the trusted sleep expert.
You must have a willingness to share your passion and curiosity with customers, community and co-workers.

• Ability to self-practice and communicate to other Sales Associates in training store policies and standards
• Responsible for carrying out visual and operational standards including shipments, floor-set directives, and store maintenance
• Initiate and follow up on corporate directives and communication
• Initiates training and uses available resources to enhance personal product knowledge
• Demonstrates proficiency in all sales responsibilities
• Ensures the store open/closing checklist is properly completed on a daily basis

• Proven sales ability with at least one year of retail sales experience
• Proficient in retail POS systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work a full-time schedule—including Saturdays and Sundays
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and possibly at multiple locations
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis
